The United States House Committee on Social Concerns and the Judiciary, also known as the House SOCJ Committee, is one of the 6 standing committees of the United States House of Representatives.

Jurisdiction

The Rules of the 117th House of Representatives states that the committee is responsible for "Oversight of the Department of Justice, and affairs pertaining to the court system of the United States, judicial issues in general, civil and criminal law, civil rights, and voting rights."

This committee is also in charge of the appropriations for the Department of Justice.
