The United States House Committee on Ways and Means, Finance, and Appropriations, also known as the House Finance Committee, is one of the 6 standing committees of the United States House of Representatives.

Jurisdiction

The Rules of the 117th House of Representatives states that the committee is responsible for "oversight of the Department of the Treasury, the Federal Reserve, and the Office of Management and Budget; and affairs pertaining to the general financing of the federal government, appropriations bills, the budget of the federal government. "

This committee is also responsible for no particular section of the Congressional appropriations bill, but is customarily assigned the responsibility of generating revenues for the bill.
