model-putrid is an independent politician and a member of the Atlantic Assembly.

Early life[edit | edit source]

model-putrid was born on June 22, 1971, to a Syrian Arabic mother and an Irish Catholic father in Machias, Maine. She attended the University of Maine in Orono. After graduating, she returned to her hometown of Machias, where she opened a steakhouse. She was bankrupted by the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, causing her steakhouse to close that year. model-putrid then took up employment at a local supermarket.

Political career[edit | edit source]

model-putrid began posting on her model-putrid messageboard blog on September 22, 2021, where she gave her thoughts on political issues of the day.[1] She announced that she would be running for the Atlantic Assembly on October 8, 2021, stating that she would run "on a nonpartisan ticket, with the goal of putting Americans first and making Atlantic a better state".[2] In the November 2021 Atlantic Assembly election, model-putrid recieved 5,249,245 votes, or 20.0% of all votes cast, winning a seat in the assembly.[3] She chose to represent her home district of Maine.[4]
