The May 2020 Sierran gubernatorial election was held on May 6, 2020, alongside various other state and local elections. The race was between Democratic nominee HurricaneofLies, Republican nominee ChaoticBrilliance, and independent candidate Drunk_King_Robert.

Incumbent governor and future president ZeroOverZero101, who was running for president at the time, decided not to run for a second consecutive (or third non-consecutive) term. Despite some polling indicating a close race, Hurricane ended up winning this election by a margin of nearly 10 points, however only received 49 percent of vote as a consequence of Drunk_King_Robert's strong performance.
