Congressional Districts in the United States are electoral divisions for the purpose of electing members of the United States House of Representatives. The number of voting seats in the House of Representatives is currently set at 18, with the rest picked by the national list

Reforms in the 21st Century[edit | edit source]

Upon January 20th, 2018 (at the end of the Trump administration), the US unofficially switched to a Mixed-Member Proportional system for the House, electing 18 members by First-Past-the-Post, as well as electing 19 to 25 members on a national list vote.
