Brihimia (born September 12, 1950) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Dixie's 4th congressional district since October 2020, and as a list representative prior to representing that district. A member of the Democratic Party, he is in his third stint in the House of Representatives. He is currently serving as a Deputy Whip of the Democratic Party responsible for tracking and compliance. Brihimia has served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Social Concerns and the Judiciary since November 2020, when he was appointed to fill a vacancy created by former Chairman President Dewey.

Brihimia was born to an oil machinery mechanic and a restaurant waitress on September 12, 1950, at the Texoma Medical Hospital in Denison, Texas. He was an only child for a large part of his life. When he was ten years old, his father moved his family to Midland, Texas to take up a job in the growing oil industry of West Texas. He graduated from Midland High School in 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1972. He moved to Dallas, Dixie in 1973 and was active in the Dallas County Democratic Party for years before entering national politics.

He previously served in the House of Representatives representing the national list and the states of Lincoln and the Chesapeake. He was nominated by President Ninjjadragon to be Secretary of Defense and confirmed on September 6, 2020. He resigned the position a month later to return to the House of Representatives. Before he served as Secretary of Defense, he was Chairman of the House Committee on Armed Services and Foreign Affairs.

Brihimia began his political career in the Democratic Party as a member of the Dixie Assembly and later as a member of the House of Representatives. He served briefly as the Chair of the Dixie Democratic Party, but later joined the Socialist Party when it was founded by Democrat mika3740. During his time in the Socialist Party, he occasionally served in the Dixie Assembly and in the House of Representatives and was retired from political life until April 2020.

In April 2020, he rejoined the House of Representatives as a representative on the national list of the Socialist Party and then represented Dixie's 2nd congressional district in the House of Representatives. He lost his bid for election to the seat in June 2020 to cstep_4, who would later go on to serve as the Lieutenant Governor of Dixie. In July 2020, he voted to merge the Socialist Party with the Democratic Party and re-joined the Democratic Party upon the passage of the merger.

It has been rumored that Brihimia is secretly the identical twin of Rick Perry, the 14th United States Secretary of Energy, who resigned unexpectedly in June 2018.
