The party promotes green politics, specifically environmentalism; violence; social justice; participatory democracy; grassroots democracy; gender equality; LGBT rights; anti-war; anti-racism and eco-socialism.

FormationEdit
The contemporary Green Party of the United States of America (GPUSA) was formed in the year 2021 and was preceded by the Association of State Green Parties (ASGP) which was also known as Green Party US (GPUS). The party is also said to be the legacy of the Socialist Party (2019).
On November 9 2020, as a result of the election of President NinjjaDragon, Green Party figures Ralph Nader and Jill Stein in addition to then Democrats UnorthodoxAmbassador and Parado-I held a conference in San Francisco Fremont focused on reforming the Green Party. By the 5th of December the conference unanimously voted to expand the powers of and elected UnorthodoxAmbassador, Parado-I and IAmATinman to the Green National Committee (GNC).
On July 14 2021, following the Green Party’s successful campaigns in Fremont’s 1st and 4th Congressional Districts, the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) informed the Green National Committee that it qualified for “major party” status. This would allow the Green Party access to a significant amount of federal and state dollars for their future ambitions and also served to bolster the party’s credibility.
Party ApparatusEdit
The Green Party of the United States of America (GPUSA) is organized and led by the Green National Committee (GNC). The GNC consists of 1 Chair and 3 Secretaries. GNC elections take place after every federal election. The Chair of the Green Party is elected by instant-runoff voting, while the Secretaries of the Green Party are elected through a single transferable vote system.

ModeratesEdit
Moderate Greens also known as Neoliberal Greens embody the values of center-left America. Neoliberal Greens can be characterized as taking a measured approach to green politics both in fiscal and social policies.
Democratic SocialistsEdit
The Green Party’s Democratic Socialists - often considered the largest sect of the party - are interested in a green politics which emulates the best of European-style social democracies in tandem with the institution of a new sustainable vision for America.
Christian SocialistsEdit
The Christian Socialists within the Green Party are primarily transplants from the Christian Cooperative Party merger. The Christian Socialists subscribe to a green politics which accounts for Judeo-Christian values and is particularly interested in instituting a distributist or syndicalist socialism.
LeftistsEdit
Green Party Leftists are often Libertarian Socialist in nature. Consisting of Libertarian Marxists, Syndicalists and Anarchists, Green Party Leftists have a lot in common with their Democratic Socialist counterparts, however, are distinguished by their commitment to anti-capitalism and critiques of the state.
Marxist-LeninistsEdit
The Green Party’s Marxists-Leninists consist of both traditional Marxist-Leninists and Maoists. Despite being the smallest of all the sects, the party is particularly captured by ‘Partisa Thought’ and ‘Felixism.’ The Green Party's Marxists-Leninist subscribe to the idea of vanguardism and believe that the Green Party should be the United States' communist vanguard party.
Forward! Party MergerEdit
The Forward! Party was heavily focused on politics in the state of Superior. The reason it merged with the Green Party was due to fears that the party would not be able to survive a review by the Federal Elections Commission (FEC), and be demoted to the status of Independent grouping. This merger occurred on January 27th, 2021.
Christian Cooperative Party MergerEdit
The Christian Cooperative Party (CCP) was a mainly socialist party that held traditional Christian values in high importance. The CCP merged with the Green Party after it was recognized by party leaders that it would not remain a holder of the "minor party" status during the next Federal Elections Commission (FEC) review. This merger occurred on March 12th, 2021.
