The August 2021 United States presidential election was the 60th quadrennial presidential election, held on Friday, September 3rd, 2021. The Republican ticket of Adithyansoccer, senior senator from Dixie and his running mate RMSteve defeated the Democratic ticket of Tripplyons18, governor of Dixie, and his running mate Nazbol909, and the Independent ticket of ZeroOverZero101.
Background[edit | edit source]
In April 2021, incumbent President Ninjjadragon filed paperwork with the FEC to run for reelection, despite rumors that he would not run for another term. However, by June the president decided to retire at the end of his term.

The Democratic Primary included several candidates, but eventually became a tight race between Governor Tripplyons18 of Dixie and Governor Barnes of Superior. After a tied primary in Greater Appalachia, Governor Barnes dropped out of the race and endorsed darthholo, momentarily placing him in the lead for delegate counts. However, Governor Tripplyons soon received the endorsements and delegates of other candidates, allowing him to secure the minimum number of delegates necessary to receive the nomination.

The Republican Party never truly had a primary event, however after NinjjaDragon's defection to the Republicans, he became the nominee.
